Starting to notice some shop home windows are putting in Christmas Windows and I always start to really feel excited. We usually rejoice Christmas Day by enjoying a Christmas lunch or dinner with our closest family and friends.
Growing up in our home I can at all times keep in mind the searing heat outside and smell of a roast wafting through the home by mid morning.
As far as Christmas traditions go, plenty of traditions are pretty much the same within the Northern Hemisphere, except they have snow!
Homes put up pretty lights and wreaths on the front door and adorn the tree and watch carols by candlelight on Christmas Eve.
I always like to hear “All I need for Christmas is you” from Love Actually and a newcomer as an Aussie playlist must have is “How to Make Gravy” by Paul Kelly.
Christmas is Coming has been tinged with unhappiness around the world by events that are out of our management however impression many families both right here and abroad. On the flipside we've had some uplifting moments just like the women’s football world cup that literally stopped our nation and made household names of our Matildas.
