https://hillstohawkesbury.com.au/man-has-died-in-dural-lift-accident/ : A man has died after after being caught under a carry cage on a property in Dural in a single day.
Around 6.30pm yesterday (Thursday 16/11/2023), emergency services had been known as to a property on Winnanga Rd, DURAL.
Officers connected to The Hills Police Area Command attended and had been told a commerical raise cage that was meant for use for removing branches from some bushes on the property was being loaded onto a Utility.
It is known a 72yo man became trapped under the raise being operated by relative, struggling fatal injuries.
The scene was forensically examined by specialist police, with @SafeworkNSW also inattendance. A report will be ready for the information of the Coroner.
